All of this began for me with the beautiful journey of a dream (which you can read here). But things never turn out as we plan them. Here lies one of the main mistakes of human beings: we plan our goals and put them into practice, even though in reality, the results are never what we expected. However, we are satisfied with what we obtain because it self-validates and self-confirms our immense need for certainties. And thus problems begin, with the immense need for certainties.

My regular readers, those wonderful people who share my frequency to some extent, already know that, deep down, I am not so much concerned with doing science with what I write, but rather with doing philosophy. However, for those who resonate with this article, it should be known that what is detailed here could be scientifically verified.

Prosperity is ‘the favorable course of things’

This means without a doubt that there is no favorable course of events for me or for you. Our prosperity does not exist if that of others does not exist. The favorable course of events involves and encompasses all forms of life and each and every thing—and their corresponding cases—in this world. You, me, them… Everything. Without any exceptions whatsoever.

In other words, prosperity is for the entirety of Life on this planet. Otherwise, it is not prosperity at all. Because as long as we are alive, we have no other place to go but this small and beautiful planet. None of us, including all those people who seem unaware of what I am talking about. Neither you nor I, nor anything or anyone. Or haven’t we realized this? It’s better that we open our eyes.

Altruism Moves Your Life and the World

It is quite common to confuse ‘the free’ with ‘the altruistic.’ However, they are not the same thing. In fact, they are not even similar. The former will cause an interference of energy, as it will prevent the ‘interflow’ from acting normally as an ‘inevitable cession.’ Meanwhile, the latter is an investment of the soul; because it comes from the purest feeling of love for life.

Translated from page 54, 203 Anotaciones (caóticas) de un soñador entrenado.

When I was studying, I remembered a phrase from Richard Paul: ‘The best way to protect my interests is by protecting those of others.’ A phrase with stunning clarity. But naturally, such a statement is entirely incompatible with any small hint of human egocentrism.

The problem we have with altruism is that, as individuals, we often err when evaluating the value of our actions based on the impact they have, or might have. In doing so, we constantly hinder the flow of Love as a source of prosperity. Altruism, considered as an investment of the soul, unfolds across the world based on the principle of reciprocity—which has nothing to do with mere exchange or redistribution. Because altruism and reciprocity, like Love, are forces of nature. They are inherent to Life itself. They have not been invented by human beings. They are part of Evolution.

Why Do I Do It This Way?

I started to conceive this Blog one night in May 2024, while I was taking some notes in my notebook that said this:

Last night, I had the revelation that people tend to group with those who share culturally created tastes or interests, rather than by their levels and degrees of frequency, which would be the truly natural way to prevent those same individuals from falling into self-deception of their own minds at some point. And it happens to all of us, why? This is an important mistake because it also causes competitiveness to proliferate and makes it difficult or impossible to exercise creative capacity… Consequently, it exponentially limits human potential. The economy has an overlooked spiritual foundation until now.

As I mentioned in Annotation #14—and I will insist on this with more detail in later articles—competitiveness is the greatest affliction that the human species suffers in this world. And it is not an affliction that arises naturally. Rather, it is an invention; a rather egocentric invention.

And this is a relevant detail. Because competitiveness is not an individual action. Rather, it is collective. I cannot be competitive with myself. Instead, to be competitive, I necessarily need to be so in relation to others, whether it involves a single individual or a group of individuals. Competitiveness will always end up ‘leaving someone on the sidelines.’

[NOTE]. One of my goals with this Blog project is to tell and show that competition and competitiveness are not necessary for the economy. This is false. They are necessary for the economic system. They may seem similar, but they are completely different things. A society driven solely by the principle of competitiveness hinders the evolutionary process of consciousness, and puts the preservation of the species at serious risk, and therefore, all forms of Life.

Conscious Awareness

As I mentioned at the beginning, all of this started for me with the description in ‘The Journey of a Dream’. And since there is no inspiration without falling in love, there is nothing better than professing Love to spread awareness. And although I personally believe that we all need a muse to fall in love with—a Precious Muse—I want to extend my Love and conscious awareness to all forms of life in this world.

It is my wish to invite all readers to a change in the conception of the economy and the principle of exchange, by which a primarily competitive human society operates, towards an economy driven by the ‘interflow’ of energy, based on the principle of reciprocity that manifests from a way of life centered on altruism.

[NOTE]. Initially, this article was going to discuss the ‘economy of interflow’. This concept is an extension of the developments on ‘evolutionary metacognition’ that are being addressed in this Blog, and which are part of the work ‘The EVA Process.’ Ultimately, this article is published as an introduction to the idea of ‘economy of interflow’, and also as a presentation of the rationale behind this Blog and all its content.

And that is exactly what I do here. With this Blog. Through each and every one of my posts, stories, verses, notes, and articles. To show beauty and conscious awareness. To spread practical philosophy, critical thinking, creativity, and teaching for self-learning. To contribute to Evolution, and to the awakening of the true nature of the species: its spiritual nature.

And to profess Love. Sometimes in silence. And sometimes, not.

This is the origin of true revelation. Because we do not need revolutions, but revelations. To reveal our authentic nature: loving and kind. To work in favor of human development and creativity. Creativity that most people self-censor due to the false need to compete. To work for the evolutionary process of consciousness, and ultimately, for the preservation of the species, and of Life in general.

Altruism does much more for human development and the preservation of the species, as well as for all forms of life on this planet, than all of science and technology combined could ever contribute. This may seem like a presumptuous statement. I know. And I do not intend to belittle either science or technology. I merely wish to place certain limits on them. Because the most valuable thing we have is within us.

And without altruism ‘there will always be someone on the sidelines.’ I believe that the best way we have to demonstrate what we say is simply to do what we say.

This is the first in a series of articles that I will be publishing on the ‘economy of interflow’. If my words resonate with you and you think I can help you with something, contact me
