I wrote this work over the years. I can remember that the first notes I organized were in 2015. However, those notes were from before that date, but I don’t know since when. So for all intents and purposes, this was my first work. Although it was originally edited in Spanish after the ‘Sentiscientive Tale.’
And when I began to prepare, to format and correct the work, I told her, ‘Mom, I have a book for you.’ Now, in order to fulfill its authentic purpose, just as she and I talked about that day, I am going to start publishing all these (chaotic) notes of a trained dreamer on this website.
Introduction
Life and the universe are essentially chaos and uncertainty, and this is almost the only certainty we truly have. However, there is something like a kind of ‘absolute perfection.’ Because, at its core, life and the universe form a perfect binomial; a wonderful pair that proves to be perfect because of everything it conceals behind it. Or perhaps beneath it, I don’t know. In reality, we never quite know where we stand. Anyone, myself included, could see perfection in everything they found orderly. But this is not the case. Not for me. The perfect is perfect because behind all that chaos there is always a hidden order. An invisible, intangible order; a perfection that is felt. The perfection of the wonderfully imperfect.
I am nothing more than a trained dreamer; one who can only account for and justify their own light. Perhaps I may serve as an example to someone, or maybe I will help give birth to something new. I hope so. I arrived in this world in love with love, and since then I have done nothing but try again and again to explore my soul, although I have not always been lucky in that endeavor. The only thing I truly know how to do well (or perhaps it’s just that I enjoy it) is to piece together and recount small fragments of life. Small fragments of Evolution. Evolution with a capital E, of course (it’s important for me to emphasize that this Evolution with a capital E is the foundation of everything I think, write, dream, and feel).
This is a brief book. And it is also so because synthesis, like simplicity, tends to elevate beauty. The book contains only annotations. They are my annotations. No one should expect to find elaborate explanations because they will not find them (at least not as I understand such elaborate explanations). The content of this book is exactly that, chaotic annotations. The result of chaos, no more and no less. Small fragments of Evolution arising randomly. Because Evolution is like that; it presents itself before our eyes in a random, unpredictable, unforeseen, and chaotic manner, although ultimately, reality may not be that way.
These small fragments in the form of chaotic annotations are also transversal, meaning they traverse an evolutionary process. My process. This means that someone paying close attention to a careful reading will find evident contradictions in some of my words (or in many of them, it doesn’t matter). It’s all right. Contradictions, as well as paradoxes, are part of the vastness of life and the universe.
Some of these annotations or small chaotic fragments speak of creation, others of the evolution of the soul, of conscience, of love, of the preservation of life, of attention, of wisdom, of intuition, of chance, of self-deception, of frequency, and of ego. In addition, there are also written annotations about culture and thought. I am sure I have noted issues related to relevance, probability, causality, and synchronicity. Some of them may seem complex, while others, on the contrary, may appear somewhat simple. It doesn’t matter. Not everyone starts from the same point in space. What I am absolutely certain of is that all of them are useful at the right moment, for the right person.
The original form in which the annotations were written has been maintained. In fact, I have never liked to change too much. I prefer to stick with the first impressions of things, which are always the least contaminated. In the case at hand, the fact that I transcribe them in their original form contributes to Evolution. I mean that the evolutionary process of conscience cannot be imposed on anyone. Therefore, even considering that my own annotations (and their effects) have evolved over the course of my own ‘available life space’ [time], my evolutionary process does not have to, in any way, resemble yours. Thus, it is much more honest and humble on my part to show you these annotations ‘as they came,’ and let Evolution do the rest.
Now, ‘if I were to harbor any specific purpose with this book,’ my intention could not go beyond hoping that these notes serve to construct new thoughts, new visions, and new ideas. And no, they do not have to be mine. The truth is that I do not want them to be, because every creative process is unique and unrepeatable. And because a mind is nothing more than the support of a conscience experiencing a life; and each conscience, with its lived and living experience, is also unique. And unrepeatable.
Moreover, the structure does not have a specific order. That is to say, the notes have been transcribed ‘as they arrived.’ Personally, I love this because it is the essence of chaos. In a way, order can only become order if it is built on the foundation of chaos. If that were not the case, order would not seem like order at all. However, the paradox of this is that there is always an order, no matter how hidden it may be.
I say more. Nothing has more persuasive power than a logical system. I could have chosen this option, to create a structure that would give a logical appearance to all these annotations. But this book is not for that, and as I mentioned before, I really have no intention of persuading anyone of anything, so it is better for your own evolution that you configure your own logical system, if that is what you need.
The annotations are spread throughout the book. To facilitate reading, all are identified by their numbering or by their titles. In the case of the latter (of which there are only a few) they seem to me more necessary, although not necessarily more important, as this naturally depends on the reader. Some of these annotations had already been shared by me in the different activities I carried out before composing these pages, either published on a website or through courses or talks.
The accompanying notes that appear after some of the annotations do not reflect a sense of chaos, which means they were included during the drafting of this book.
On the other hand, I must highlight the self-taught nature of this work. And I don’t just mean that it was written by a self-taught individual, but rather that it carries the necessary essence to help the reader develop a greater self-taught disposition and, at the same time, foster skills in self-directed learning. I have a good reason for this. I am fully convinced that self-taught individuals are the only ones who are truly free; free from the biases that arise from acquired knowledge, regardless of what that knowledge may be.
I am aware that these pages contain some annotations that, while filled with all the love that comes from me, may also clash head-on with many of our ideas, customs, or habits. Therefore, I apologize to anyone who may feel offended in any way.
Personally, I believe that each of these notes should serve to create spaces for reflection on what they affirm or imply (considering that some of the ideas presented are repeated throughout the entire process), and if applicable, in their possible implementation in our daily lives, which is, after all, the exact place where our evolution is being forged.
I want to make two more clarifications. First of all, I am not doing science here (or maybe I am, but in no way am I pursuing it). Science is very useful for those who seek the truth. However, it proves somewhat more sterile for those of us who have found it. It sounds strange, I know. This is the advantage of not spending your life searching. One good day, you stop doing it and simply ‘observe’ how human nature flows around you, and without really knowing why or for what, on that beautiful day, you begin to find the truth of what your emptiness longs for. Secondly, and no less importantly, although this is a brief book, one should not rush to finish it, because calmness, and this is essential, also contributes to Evolution. In an intense way.
Lastly, I only want to insist that my words are not meant to convince skeptics. This book is solely for those individuals who, despite knowing the lesson well, do not practice it. And maybe now they want to do so. Because I can only remind you that all the souls of this world are subject to the laws of chaos, and if this were not the case, there would be no Evolution.
Annotation 1. [About the Essence].
There are no mediocre jobs, no mediocre people, no mediocre actions. There are only mediocre spirits. Everything that comes from within your soul can become sublime.
